CMPDI Inducted Electric Vehicles into its fleet
Manoj Kumar, CMD, CMPDI flags off the fleet of 10 nos. of electric cars at CMPDI(HQ), Ranchi on 06.03.2024 and mark the induction of Electric Vehicles (EVs) into CMPDI. CMPDI in its endeavour for Sustainable development inducted EVs which will help in reduction of Greenhouse gases emissions, improving air quality and reducing noise pollution. Shankar Nagachari, Director (Tech./CRD); Satish Jha, Director(Tech./ES); Achuyt Ghatak, Director (Tech./RD&T); S.K.Dubey, GM(TS/PR) and other Sr. officials were present on this occasion.
International Women's Day celebrated in UCO Bank
International Women's Day was organized on Wednesday at the UCO Bank branch located on the main road (PP Compound Lane) of the capital. On this occasion, famous poet Vandana Tete was invited as the chief guest on behalf of the bank employees. In her address, Tete said that today women are hoisting the flag in every field. Remarkable work is being done by government and non-government organizations in the country towards women empowerment. This is commendable and welcome. He said that without the active participation of women, the talk of all-round development is meaningless. Tete said that proper respect for women is the hallmark of a civilized society. On this occasion, UCO Bank's Zonal Head Vikrant Tandon, Deputy Zonal Head Anju Sinha, Chief Manager Shrikant Singh, Narendra Kumar Mishra along with women employees of UCO Bank's regional office and Main Road branch were present.
