Cops in latehar could not have any better day than this Sunday when DGP DK Pandey gave away `1 lakh to the team of Chandwa police station credited for gunning down Jharkhand Sangharsh Jan Mukti Morcha supremo Diwalee Ganju on Saturday. The DGP reached latehar on Sunday by chopper along with Anurag Gupta ADG Special Branch, MS Bhatia, Rakesh Bansal and CRPF's Anuj Kumar.
Sources said the DGP spent near about an hour in latehar wherein he interacted with his officials there. DGP cash rewarded both Palamu and latehar police. Palamu police has also shot down a PlFI head in Hurlong area Amrit wherein DIG police Palamau by the order of the DGP had given `100,000 to SP Patel Mayur K lal to be given to the successful police team led by ASP ( Ops) Kanhaiya Singh police for silencing ever Amrit.
