Compulsory implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST) from July 1 must have been a mammoth task for hundreds of thousands of medium and large companies across the country with Jharkhand traders being no exception to this.

However, dozens of start-up companies are also seeing it as an opportunity to grab a sizeable business from providing mobile based applications. latest among them in city is GSTtm from Preserve Consultancy Services, which claims to provide all GST filing to small and medium sized enterprises through mobile application at as a low price as Rs 750 per month.

“We could clearly see an unlimited business potential in domestic market. large organisations emphasize on big enterprises. However, around 70 percent small businesses are untouched with emerging technologies. Our mobile application empowers small businesses to unwrap the GST. Our objective is to maximize the application reach to retailers and to continuously improve our services for their ease in GST compliance,” said Preserve Consultancy Services Private limited Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Vikas Singh on Thursday.

Though Freedom.Desi which offers GST solutions to traders for improved productivity and streamline tax processes in their business in GST regime, Count Magic.com which came up with cloud-based software for Small and Medium Enterprises, e-commerce and traders, and dozens of other companies are also present on Google PlayStore, Windows AppStore and Apple-iStore platforms, Singh said that the application launched by Preserve was unique as it offered seamless GST filing at a cost of affordable price.

Preserve Consultancy Services Chief Finance Officer (CFO) Jayram Choudhary who is also a Chartered Accountant in the firm said that time restriction of filing GST was something which was going to keep traders on toes. “Moreover, we have tried to provide unmatched data security for traders, as those business data to be filed under GST are going to remain confidential. Our data security is at par with nationalized banks, hence traders can have no worries about their data security which will remain freely available for app users for seven years,” added Choudhary.
