Bokaro Steel Plant (BSl) is on ‘green’ drive to increase green cover in the periphery areas; hundreds of saplings were planted. “A massive forestation drive of about two lakhs saplings over 200 acres of land by CSR is on the cards”, said BSl officials.
Our opinion is “wherever there is land, there should be greenery”, added the official. The CEO of BSl PK Singh along with officials planted thousands of saplings at HRD centres and other locations with great enthusiasm. The CSR department of BSl has taken this mission upon itself to increase the green cover in the periphery with the help of Forest department, the plantation drive will continue till 10 August, official said.
