Bokaro Power Supply Company (P) ltd. (BPSCl) is on ‘green’ drive to increase green cover in the periphery areas; thousand of saplings were planted on Tuesday. “A massive forestation drive of 5500 saplings by CSR is on the cards during this monsoon”, said Mukesh Tiwary a BPSCl PR official.
Our opinion is “wherever there is land, there should be greenery”, he added. Under its CSR initiative BPSCl has taken this mission upon itself to increase the green cover in the periphery. On this move a tree plantation drive was kicked off at Asansol School, Chas and Harila School Chas including a nearby village. At least 1500 sapling were distributed among the students and villagers.
Beside others RR Sinha DGM (P&A), Ayeshwarya S. including others BPSCl representatives, peoples form Vanvasi Kalyan Kendra, villagers and students were participated in plantation drive, official informed.
