Bokaro police recovers 10 kg of cane bomb

A joint team of the CRPF and the local Bokaro Thermal and Nawadih police recovered 10 kg of cane bomb planted beside the culvert (27/1) on Budhgada-Pannk road, barely 5 km away from Nawadih police station, on Sunday afternoon, said the officer-in-charge of Bokaro Thermal laxami Kant. The forces have intensified the search operation in the Maoist –hit Nawadih Police Station area for the past few days.

The police successfully averted a major disaster with this as the bomb was connected with electronic detonator near Budhgadda. The operation carried out by Bermo circle inspector Sailendra Singh along with O/C Bokaro thermal laxami Kant, O/C Nawadih B Rawat and in association with 26-B CRPF battalion.However no arrest could be made,said laxami Kant. A combing operation in the Naxal-hit jungles is on.
