On the occasion of the 72nd Van Mahotsav, a tree plantation campaign was started by the Bokaro Forest Division on the Satanpur hill under Chas block by MLA Biranchi Narayan and District Forest Officer (DFO) AK Singh.
Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan said all of us took shelter in Ayurveda, the traditional knowledge of India in order to protect against the corona epidemic, we realised the importance of the flora of medicinal species. Therefore, keeping the Satanpur hill protected and in view of the Covid-19 epidemic, planting of Peepal, Banyan, Pakar and other fruitful and shady plants should be done on a large scale by the department in the trees that provide good oxygen, as well as it should be monitored so that pure environment is maintained .
DFO AK Singh said that trees will be planted according to the availability of land, also those who wanted to plant trees on their land, they will be helped by the department.On this occasion, BJP District General Secretary Sanjay Tyagi, Ranger Ajay Kumar and different Forest personnel were present.
