JVM (P) Bokaro MlA Samresh Singh was granted bail by the Dhanbad district court on Thursday noon. Singh was sent to jail in a case of Prevention of Defacement of Property Act 1987, by the district court on Wednesday.
Two separate cases were filed against Singh by then circle officer of Dhanbad and block development officer on August 9, 1999. Duos had filed separate complaints against Singh for writing slogans on the walls of the circuit house and sadar hospital without permission, said advocate R Giri.The district court had declared him absconding on May 30, 2013 when he did not appear before it.
later Singh applied for bail (on 20 May) in the sessions judge directed to surrender in a lower court,he said.On Wednesday Singh surrendered in the court of judicial magistrate Kumar Pawan in connection with the case and he was sent to jail.
