DC Kuldeep Chowdhary reviewed the progress of the works being done to start the operations of Bokaro Airport in the Collectorate office. During this meeting , Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan, DDC Kirtishree G, DFO Rajneesh Kumar, SDO Chas Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat, Civil Surgeon Dr. AB Prasad, Additional Collector Sadat Anwar, BSL representative, Senior Manager of Bokaro Airport Priya Kumari, representative of Civil Aviation Department Ranchi etc. were present mainly .
DC Kuldeep Chowdhary reviewed the pending and progress works in detailed manner. During this meeting, primarily discussions were held on identifying the pending tasks to be performed by concern departments in the operation of Bokaro Airport. Officials related to Health Department, Police Department and Fire Department were asked to correspond fast with the state headquarters and department level to provide expedite works as already things are delayed .
At the same time, in the course of review, the matter of pending and slow progress of many works from Airport Authority of India (AI) level also came to the fore. The DC instructed Priya Kumari, manager of Bokaro Airport, to speed up the works by correspondence at the directorate and the concerned officials level. Further DC Kuldeep Chowdhary directed the concerned officer to also correspond with the regional director of Airport Authority of India at the committee level to speed up the work related to pending and slow progress point-wise.
The BSL representative was instructed to provide the letter related to the requirement of medical team/para medical staff/deputation number/format of MoU/specification of ambulance to the civil surgeon at Bokaro airport without any delay. Apart from this, the compliance of the guidelines received after the meeting chaired by Alamgir Alam, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Rural Development, Government of Jharkhand, was also reviewed by the DC Bokaro.
The DC gave further necessary instructions to the concerned officials regarding holding the meeting of this committee every month and regular monitoring of the progress work. Notably Legislator Bokaro Biranchi Narayan also had numerous meetings in past to push things towards Bokaro Airport operational as truly now things are delayed and industrial City Bokaro starving for the airport operational which on sure will boost the overall growth of this City in a significant manner which this Steel city always deserved.
