Now City roads would be lighted with Solar lED lights. Bokaro Deputy Commissioner MK Baranawal executed an order to set up solar-powered streetlights on Bokaro-Chas Road, form Nayamore Bokaro to Garga River Chas under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
The 2.5 kms stretch along which thousands of vehicles, including heavy trucks and interstate vehicles, ply daily also witness traffic blocks also on a regular basis, even during the night hours.
The proposal was envisaged considering the measures taken by the district administration to develop the stretch and put an end to travel woes of travellers.
Barnawal also ordered to install Ultrasound machine at Sadar Hospital under CSR. This 100 beds Sadar hospital has several units includes, gynaecology, pediatrics, cardiology, burns, orthopedics, skin, and eye units; equipped with outdoor, surgery, scanning, ultrasound facilities. Very soon a hi-tech blood bank would be scheduled to come-up.
A ten-bed burn unit ready for unveiling near Sadar Hospital at Bokaro, will treat patients with all types of burns free of charge to the BPl family while others will have to pay about 40 percent of the total expenditure. Sadar Hospital Bokaro which was erected with an estimated expenditure of ten crore rupees was inaugurated on November 1, 2013, by then State health minister Rajendra Prasad Singh.
