Dead body of 27-year old woman identified as Nasima Bibi suspected to have murdered, was found lying by the road side close to the Tiwari Parahari village within limits of Bengabad police station on Sunday afternoon. SDPO Manish Toppo of Giridih said that it was noticed after some passersby informed the police about a suspicious looking sack.
The deceased has been identified as Nasima Bibi wife of Karim Miya belonging to Tiwari-Parahari village who had gone to a local doctor for treatment of her daughter but did not return. A case was registered with the Bengabad police station and a team was constituted to investigate the matter. Post-mortem report is waited.
While locals told police that she could have been sexually assaulted, no signs of scuffle were found at the spot. "It seems like somebody dumped the body in the nearby field. We are checking some evidence to get a clue of the suspects," said Officer-in charge Manoj Kumar.
