Body of a 18-year-old girl missing since Holi was found hanging from a tree in Tarojori forest area at Bengabad in Giridih on Wednesday.
According to the police, Mayano Marandi lived with her uncle in a village of the locality. She left her house around 5pm on March 21,2019. When she did not return till late in the night, her parents and relatives went out to look for her.
On Wednesday morning, her brother went out in search of her again. He found her body hanging from a tree in a Tarojori forest area in Bengabad of the village. The body was hanging with a stole around the neck. He informed his family and villagers.
A Bengabad police ASI Rajesh Kumar alingwith forces reached the spot for investigation. Investigation officer Rajesh Kumar ruled out the possibility of any foul play while claiming that the girl committed suicide.Kumar said her body had been sent for autopsy.
