Body of a CCL worker was found hanging from a noose within limits of Makoli OP area under Chandrapura police station area here on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Sandeep Turi, who lived at Turi Mohalla of Jharkhand Colony.
Regarding the incident, Makoli OP's ASI Anant Singh said that according to the family members, he was ill for a few days. He had returned a few days back after getting treatment from Ranchi. The reason will be known after the post-mortem report comes.The relatives gave information of the incident to Makoli OP police station.
After getting the information, the police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. ASI Anant Singh said that the matter is being investigated. Nothing can be said now. The cause of death will be known after the post-mortem report comes,added ASI.
After receiving the information, INTUC leader Mahendra Kumar Vishwakarma and Shivnandan Chauhan NP Vice President Chhedi Nonia and others consoled the family members.
In relation to the incident, relatives said that after having dinner on Wednesday night, he went to sleep like every day and his mother also slept on another bed in the same room. When her mother got up in the morning, she saw that he was not on his bed. When she went to another room, she saw Sandeep hanging on the noose with the help of a sari. He was brought down in a hurry but by then he was dead.
