Reinforcing its commitment to community welfare, ESL Steel Ltd., in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society (Bokaro Chapter) and Citizens Foundation, organized a voluntary Blood Donation Camp at the Occupational Health Centre, Bokaro. The initiative was held under “V for Society”, Vedanta ESL’s employee volunteering programme.
The camp witnessed participation from 60 volunteers, including ESL employees, business partners, and local citizens. Chief guest Kunal Daripa, Head CSR, ESL, was joined by dignitaries Suresh Kumar Bhudiya (Head, Disaster Management), D. N. Choubey (Chairman, Red Cross Bokaro), and Dr. Praveen Pitta, Chief Medical Officer, ESL.
Kunal Daripa highlighted the power of collective effort in building a compassionate society. Dr. Pitta appreciated the volunteers, noting that blood donation reflects ESL’s broader commitment to inclusive growth.
The Red Cross Society ensured safe and supervised collection, while the Citizens Foundation, active across Jharkhand and other states, co-hosted the event. The camp marks another step in Vedanta ESL’s vision of “Transforming for Good.”
