A blood donation camp was organised in the management department of Vinoba Bhave University on Monday with the help of Red Cross Society, Hazaribagh. More than 100 students of management department voluntarily donated their blood in this camp.
The camp was inaugurated by the Pro Vice Chancellor Dr MP Sinha and DSW Manjula Sanga by cutting the ribbon.
On this occasion the PVC Sinha said that donation of blood is a holy work, which saves the lives of many persons. He said that every person must donate their blood at least one time in the year. He expressed his pleasure when came to know that this is the sixth time management department organising the blood donation camp.
Dean Student Welfare Manjula Sanga said that we are trying to organise such camps in every three months in the different department of the university headquarter. Dean and Head of Commerce department and director MBA Dr MK Singh said that we have made the plan to motivate the management students to donate the blood. More than 700 students of management department have already donated their blood so far.
The in-charge of Red Cross Society Nirmal Jain Gangwal said, “We are thankful to the management department for organising camps regularly for some years.” On this occasion, teachers of management and commerce department were present.
