District Magistrate Rajeev Ranjan and SP Manoj Ratan Chothe distributed blankets to people belonging to the BPl category at slum areas of Barwa Toli.
There is biting cold in the district these days and blankets and warm wears have become the most essential need of the people. On the occasion, the DC and the SP also sought to know the problems of electricity and water supplies.
They advised the young people to respect the old citizens and also to maintain cleanliness in the areas.
They also requested them to send their children to school. The residents apprised the officials of many of their local problems.
