Black money hoarders most upset, says Jayant Sinha

Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Hazaribagh BJP MP Jayant Sinha took a dig at the Opposition over demonetisation, yet again on Sunday. On the eve of Bharat Bandh called by the Opposition, Sinha said that those sitting on the pile of black-money were the most upset people after the November 8 declaration.

Though Sinha expressed sympathy with those having white money and suffering a little for cash in bank branches and in the queue outside ATMs, yet he said that the situation was returning back to normalcy rapidly. “After ATMs started dispensing Rs. 2,000 currency notes, the sufferings of common people started disappearing. Now that people have started receiving Rs. 500 new currency notes also, the currency crunch is just a matter of couple of days,” Sinha added.

The opposition parties in the state including the Congress which has called Bandh on Monday across the country have unanimously agreed over not imposing any Bandh here in Jharkhand citing various reasons. JVM, JMM, CPI, CPM and all other opposition parties have already said on Saturday that people shouldn’t be force to suffer with another Bandh after the one organised on Friday last week by them over CNT/SPT Amendment Bill 2016.

However, Sinha accompanied by Rajyasabha MP Dr. Mahesh Poddar said today that the opposition was very much in know with the massive support which demonetization received from common honest people of the country. He said that it was not the worry of common people, but it was the fear of having no mass support to anything against demonetisation which forced the opposition parties to stay away from proposed Bharat Bandh.

Counting the possible benefits of demonetization, Poddar said that generation next would see a new era of corruption free India. “Demonetisation is just one of the tools to make country corruption and black-money free. There are many more such corrupt-hounding measures to be taken in near future, which would be create history,” said Poddar. He added that people were fed up with corruption and black-money hoarded during Congress regime.
