A summit of active members of Scheduled Tribe Morcha was organised in the auditorium of district president Chhedi Ram. MP Sudarshan Bhagat, State vice president Raj Mohan Priyadarshi, media in-charge Vinod Kerketta and BJP district vice president Rakesh Prasad were present on the occasion.
MP Sudarshan Bhagat said, “Inspite of ruling for such a long duration, the Congress Party has not taken any noticeable step in the favor of STs. So the people of this community are lagging behind and are facing the problems of poverty and unemployment. Congress party has produced the illogical data of deciding the cost worth only Rs 28 a day for the poor.”
“Congress has followed the divide and rule policy whereas BJP thinks of the last person of the society for development. For the progress of the society e want Narendra Modi as PM and for that our members will have to leave no stone unturned,” he added further.
BJP district vice president Rakesh Prasad said that STs have always been exploited by the political parties other than BJP. State vice-president Raj Mohan Priyadarshi, media in-charge Vinod Kerketta, Dhananjay Tiwari and laxmi Bhagat said that Congress party lacks the far sightedness and hence we are lagging behind. In the meet a huge number of ST members were present.
