The people of Jharkhand are divided by dialects but united by music which is understood by the tribals and non-tribals alike. While the different dialects pose a challenge, music presents an opportunity to reach out to each and every Jharkhandi with minimal effort which the Bhartiya Janta Party seems to have picked up very well. The party released a music compact disc to woo voters in the Assembly elections.
The CD titled—’Purna Bahumat Sampurna Vikas. Chalo Chale Modi Ke Saath’ (Full Majority Total Development, lets walk with Modi)’— makes a unique attempt to ensure that lotus blossoms in Jharkhand much the way it did in lok Sabha elections. The CD was released on Tuesday and will be played on campaign vehicles to appeal to voters of the State.
Even as the party leaders appealed for vote on issues the CD talks about ‘achey din’ after the saffron brigade came to power at the centre and especially in the wake of pro-poor policies rolled out the Government of United Progressive Alliance in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The musical campaign launched by BJP shares benefit of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna, sharp decline in food prices besides decrease in the prices of patrol and diesel. Incidentally, the financial inclusion scheme launched by the Modi has brought good results as reported target to open 75.16 million bank accounts of those outside banking network by January 26, 2016 has reportedly been achieved.
With ‘Modi aaya, Modi aaya: Jharkhand ka vikas kare Modi aaya re’ – the parody underscores the significance of leadership under Modi and requests electorates of Jharkhand to bestow the party with full majority in the Assembly elections absence of which has been incidentally the reason cited by the party for the underdevelopment of the State.
The tune with a tinge of local touch appeals voters to end the era of fractured mandate, political instability and strengthen the hands of the party to let the developmental works prevail.
