The State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday said that the people of the State have voted in large numbers to make Narendra Modi as Prime Minister once again in the fifth phase of polls.

Addressing a press meet at the party headquarter Treasurer and Rajya Sabha MP, Mahesh Poddar said that after the completion of fifth round of elections zeal of voters and participation of women and youths in large numbers has given blessing to make Narendra Modi as Prime Minister once again.

“After the announcement of results of the elections the conflict among parties of Grand Alliance will come forward. With an aim to save political existence and to fulfill personal interest without leadership led Grand Alliance has failed to impress people in these elections,” said Poddar.

It is clear after completion of fifth phase and voting at 425 seats that BJP will win with its alliance partner with huge margin of more than 2014 results. It is call of the country to have strong government at the Centre, he added.

Meanwhile, a delegation of BJP filed complaint with Chief Electoral Officer regarding Election Commission recommendations for non availability of facilities for the voters as it had assured the political parties before the elections.

Informing the issue the State BJP, Media In Charge Pradeep Sinha said that on January 30, the 17-member team under the leadership of India’s Chief Election Commissioner, Sunil Arora visited Jharkhand and then there was a meeting of the Chief Election Commission with political parties and all the political parties had informed about their suggestions and problems and after listening to suggestions, the Election Commission finally issued the press release on the basis of given suggestions of political parties.

Sinha said that in the column 8 of the press release, the Election Commission had issued a directive that this time in the State elections; the Oxibilty Observer will be appointed for the first time to provide extra facility for differently abled. There will be arrangement at all polling stations for the Assured Minimum Facility such as water, toilets, ramps, sheds and trips, he added.

“Keeping this directive of the Chief Election Commissioner, there was no such kind of facility on the booths in the fourth and fifth phase of Jharkhand. There was no shed above the line of voters except for some ideal polling stations, and there was no any facility available for the differently abled people” said Sinha.

Sinha also informed that no one was aware of the Assured Minimum Observer.
