The State BJP in-charge for Lok Sabha elections Mangal Pandey today emphatically said that the party will win all the 14 seats of Jharkhand in the forthcoming elections. Holding a meeting with party office bearers here on Monday, he said that today the people of the country are with Narendra Modi and the confidence of people has increased on the PM.
Pandey said that this election will be fought on the basis of both name and work of Narendra Modi. “The Central and State government have done historic work for the poor farmers, rural poor and the economically deprived people. Today, the country is progressing rapidly on the path of progress,” he said, welcoming the decision of granting 10 per cent reservation for the poor class by the Central Cabinet today and said that the BJP government is fulfilling the resolve of everyone with development of all speed.
Chief Minister Raghubar Das, National General Secretary Saudan Singh, General Secretary Dharampal, along with state office bearers Aditya Sahu, Usha Pandey Pradeep Verma, Deepak Prakash, Anant Ojha, Naveen Jaiswal, Manoj Singh, Subodh Singh, Sarita Shrivastav, Muneshwar Sahu ,Spokespersons, JB Tubid, Pratul Shahdeo, Pravin Prabhakar, Misfiqa Hassan, Rajesh Shukla, Hemant Shivpujan Pathak among others were present in the meeting.
Earlier, addressing a press meet on Monday, BJP Schedule Tribe wing president and Khijri MLA Ramkumar Pahan said that the Morcha will start holy soil gathering programme from January 9. The workers of the ST wing will visit villages of birthplace of martyrs and soil of Sarna site for collection of the soil, he added.
“The collected soil from across the State in face of rally will be kept at Museum of Old Jail area in Ranchi. This programme will be historic event for tribals,” Pahan said.
Lauding Raghubar government Pahan said, “It was tribal society’s demand since last many years that ST Commission should be formed. All the Jharkhand name political parties have politicize the matter but taken any step regarding it. First time the Raghubar Das government has decided that a Scheduled Tribe commission will be formed to provide rights and respects to tribals.”
“To keep safe rituals and culture of tribal society such as Munda, Pahra, Raja, Pradhan, Pujar, Kotwar, Panbhora, Mnjhi Baba, Raghubar Das government has given promotion fund” he added.
Pahan said that that statue of Father John Weptist Hofman has been installed at various places of Khunti districts. It may be mentioned here that he is that person against whom Birsa Munda has fought to protect religion and culture. Birsa Munda had tried to kill him by arrow but he escaped. It is insult of Birsa Munda to erect statue of the Father. The ST wing is strongly criticizing it.
