BJP to form majority Govt in State: Munda

Published on:

Terming the Hemant Soren-led Government totally ‘inactive’, Opposition leader Arjun Munda said on Friday that the incumbent State Government has failed in almost all fronts of development.

“Assembly election is just 3-4 months away and this time, there will be a majority BJP Government in Jharkhand,” said former CM Munda at Barkagaon in Hazaribagh. Munda was in Barkagaon to attend the last rituals of founder of Radha Govind Educational Institutions, late Ganesh Sao. At Barkagaon Chowk, the BJP workers gave a warm welcome to the former CM and other leaders who were with him from Ranchi and Hazaribagh.

Talking about the deteriorating law and order condition of entire State the veteran leader said that the people of this State were passing the days in panic. Murder, abduction, rape, loot and other such incidence have become a part of day to day life of the denizens and Government was doing nothing.

Criticising the Government, Munda counter-questioned to enlist the developmental works in Hazaribagh district and especially in Barkagaon for the last one year. This government has been formed for the benefit of parties not for the people and it has become clear in Parliamentary election that the citizens of Jharkhand are aware of this fact.

Munda said, “The people of Jharkhand had expressed their faith in BJP in the parliamentary election and once again the party will get the faith of voters of this State in Assembly election. We all are sure that this time the State will come out of the grips of coalition and a majority Government will be formed for the first time which will fulfil the aspirations of the citizens of this State.”

With Arjun Munda district board chairman BK Jaiswal, BJP’s vice president Rakesh Prasad, Balmukund Sahay, District President Tunnu Gope, Baleshwar Kumar, Sunil Sao and others paid their tributes to the departed soul.
