Keeping in view the upcoming lok Sabha elections, the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) is all set to embark on an innovative programme aimed at gathering support for the party and collecting funds for campaigning in the State. The programme named “one note and kamal par vote” is aimed primarily at keeping the traditional vote bank intact besides creating a buzz around Narendra Modi.
“The programme will make an appeal to those who want to see Modi as the next prime minister of India to vote for the party in the upcoming elections,” said Convenor of the programme Ganesh Mishra.
The innovative programme conceived by central leaders of the party will begin from February 11 — death anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay — and will continue for eight days. Notably, as many as 40,000 party workers are likely to join the campaign which will cover entire state. The party has made around 24,000 boxes for collecting funds from party sympathisers. The programme will be conducted at every polling station in Jharkhand.
“We will also circulate a message of National president Rajnath Singh while making an appeal to make donations to the party. People can donate whatever amount they wish,” added Mishra. The party will conduct a series of meetings towards the end of first week of February to assess the level of preparedness at different levels in the party. The BJP has started dispatching the special boxes that will be used during the campaign.
