To counter regular attacks made by Opposition parties regarding proposed amendments in CNT and SPT Acts, the State BJP will chalk out a strategy to thwart the one-sided campaign being carried out against the ruling alliance. During the Core Committee meeting of BJP at the party headquarters in Ranchi on Wednesday, Party MlAs have been asked to submit their suggestions in this regard.

“The tribal MlAs have especially been asked to put their suggestions to the State president on how to nullify the one sided campaign being carried out by the Opposition parties,” said a senior BJP leader.

During the Core Committee meeting, discussions took place on how to bring a better coordination between the Government and the organisations so that the party workers do not feel alienated, he added.

“Discussion also took place on how to make the benefits of Government schemes reach out to the masses in an effective way,” said the party leader.

“Although Government has to play a bigger role in this regard, workers participation should also be ensured,” he added.

It was also decided to hold stake over the fact that Jharkhand was bifurcated from Bihar by the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Bajpayee and make the rally being organised on Jharkhand Foundation Day a great success.

later, former Jharkhand Vikas Morcha General Secretary Sunil Sahu along with his supporters on Wednesday joined BJP at the State Party headquarters in Ranchi in presence of Chief Minister Raghubar Das and Party State president laxman Gilua.

During the occasion, Das said that BJP was a party which runs on the basis of organisation and individual centric parties are bound to fall.

“Jharkhand is a State of villages and our artisans manufacture several goods in a traditional way,” said the CM. He appealed the citizens to boycott china products like toys, idols, electricity items and adopt country products this Dipawali.

The CM further added that BJP runs on the mantra of development and not on the basis of caste, religion and regionalism. “From today, you are also a BJP worker and you will get proper respect here,” said the CM.

Speaking at the occasion, party president laxman Gilua said that BJP was a party of villages and poor, here no one is bigger or smaller….all are equal. “Anyone adopting the principles of the party could be a member of the BJP,” said Gilua.
