BJP survey to assess MPs’ performance

Published on:

The BJP with an aim to win all the 14 seats in the state in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, has decided to take the feedback of people and party cadres about the present MP or party leaders. The BJP has a keen eye on the anti-incumbency of MPs. The party wants to know how many sitting MPs are there in Jharkhand against whom there is anti-incumbency. To understand this in depth, the central organization will conduct a survey in all the 14 parliamentary constituencies.

Survey work will start in August. The state leadership will not have any role in this, nor will they know which agency is conducting the survey. Although surveys are conducted from time to time on various subjects by the central leadership, but this survey is going to be comprehensive. This time the scope of the survey has to be extended to major panchayats. Meanwhile, MPs have been clearly told to improve their image. Speed up people-to-people contact in the region. Publicize the achievements of the Central Government and the failures of the State Government from village to village.

Survey will be done on 14 points, along with common people, workers will also keep their opinion. Questions such as Do MPs take interest in the work of the organization?, Did the MP took out any agitation regarding local problems?, How is their behavior with the workers, do they get involved in their problems? What is winning possibility of MPs among others.

Similarly from people question relating to Are people happy with the work of MP? If unhappy, will you give them another chance?  Who did you vote for last time, the current MP or someone else among others.

Survey is to be done at total 14 points. Along with the common people, the workers will also keep their opinion. Seven different questions will be asked from both. Party workers of the concerned area will give information about the works of their respective MPs.

The Giridih parliamentary constituency is occupied by BJP's ally AJSU party. The MP here is Chandraprakash Chowdhary. Looking at the present politics of Jharkhand, there is a possibility that the alliance of BJP and AJSU will continue even in the year 2024 parliamentary elections.

The performance of the current BJP MPs and their age will form the basis of getting tickets this time. After analyzing the data obtained in the survey, it will be discussed among the senior leaders of the party. It is certain that leaders who have turned 75 will not get tickets.
