BJP smells foul in recent political developments

We are very much sure that what happened here at Hazaribagh was a result of conspiracy against the party. Both Devdayal and loknath Mahto have made up their mind to quit the party and after quitting they are labelling false charges against the party and our leader Yashwant Sinha,” State spokesperson of BJP Sanwarmal Agrawal said at Atal Bhavan on Saturday.

Agrawal said that before leaving the party both leaders have met Ex-CM Arjun Munda with Ex-MPs Mahavirlal Vishwakarma and Yadunath Pandey. Munda himself talked to president Ravindra Rai and MP Yashwant Sinha. It was decided that on October 26 that they will sit together to discuss over all the issues but both left the party on October 25  which indicates that some forces were behind them who were  against this meeting.

Accepting exit of both leaders as a loss to party, the spokesperson said that very soon the mask from the face of that force will come out and everything will become clear.

He said that both Devdayal and loknath Mahto won thrice Assembly elections and they were among our oldest workers so it is natural that whole party is sad on this development.

When asked about why party has not taken steps at time even when reports of differences in local party unit was coming in media too regularly then he said that the state unit had always taken notice of such reports and had taken necessary steps too at proper times.
