Under the leadership of senior BJP leader Saryu Roy BJP activists will gherao and stage lock up agitation at National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in Ranchi on November 21. According to information, BJP MlAs Raghuwar Das and Menaka Sardar will also participate in the agitation.
Roy, who spoke to project director Awdhesh Kumar for the poor NH condition, convened a meeting of party activists to plan a strategy. “‘The horrible condition of the NH-33 between Ranchi and Jamshedpur is a clear example of that negligence. If there is a delay on part of the NH agency then at least the state government should carry out temporary repairing of the highway. What is stopping the local government from improving the pathetic condition,” said the former MlA from Jamshedpur West.
He said the stretch between Rangaon, on the NH-33, is pitiable and deserves immediate attention but concerned agencies of the State Government are apparently insensitive to the issue.
