The BJP has reacted sharply to statement made by Union Minister Jairam Ramesh that he has documents against former Chief Minister Arjun Munda to put him in trouble.

BJP activists led by State spokesperson Amarpreet Singh Kale staged a massive demonstration at Telco and burnt effigy of the Minister. The party activists raised slogans against the Minister.

Ramesh during his visit to Saranda on Saturday claimed that if he will open his mouth against the BJP leader he will come out with several hidden secrets.

Meanwhile in protest against the statement made, BJP activists led by Amarpreet Singh Kale, State BJP spokesperson staged massive demonstration sought apology from the Minister.

“The statement made by Ramesh is uncalled for and only goes to show that the Congress leaders are interested only in petty politics rather than development of the State,” said Kale.

He also raised doubts over the regular visit of the Union Minister to Saranda. Kale said that the area is fertile for iron ore mines and this must be the reason for his regular visit to the area. He demanded apology from Ramesh for his comments against Munda.
