BJP state spokesperson Ramakant Mahato has made serious allegations against the state government's health system and RIMS. Mahato said that the state government is talking about laying the foundation of RIMS Part 2, while the current condition of RIMS is getting worse day by day. He said that the state government should first improve the current arrangements of RIMS, and not turn a blind eye to the mismanagement in the health sector by showing rosy pictures of a new project.
State spokesperson Ramakant Mahato said, "The condition of RIMS is getting worse day by day. Medicines are not available, beds are not available, and machines are not working at many places. Patients coming from far-flung areas of Jharkhand do not get any hope of treatment here, rather they are dependent on outside pathology labs." Along with this, he also expressed concern over the recent rape incident of a woman in RIMS and said, "This incident proves that women are not safe in RIMS.
Ramakant Mahato also alleged that the outsourcing employees in RIMS do not get their salary on time, due to which the condition of the employees working there is getting worse. Apart from this, many government machines, which are very important for the examination of patients, are lying idle for many months.
The BJP spokesperson also said that some leaders sitting in power have formed private diagnostic companies, and their aim is to supply their products in RIMS. "Isn't this a game of corruption?" Mahato raised the question. State spokesperson Ramakant Mahato said that instead of improving the basic facilities and manpower, the state government is busy playing a new game. In the past, many important works related to infrastructure have been done in the health sector. There is a need to keep it in order. There is a huge shortage of manpower at the Panchayat and Block level. The government should pay attention to it. No. Only empty talks are being made. Even today in rural areas, patients are being carried to hospitals on cots.
