BJP state president and MP Deepak Prakash once again put the state government in the dock with the loot of mineral wealth in the state. BJP president Deepak Prakash said that the Hemant government has made a record in looting mineral wealth of the state. Illegal mining and smuggling of mineral resources is going on indiscriminately throughout the state.
He said that the mining of minerals in the mines even after the expiry of the lease on March 31, proves that there is a strong nexus between the mining department, police administration and mining mafia. He said that in the past too, people involved in illegal mining have lost their lives in many districts of the state.
He said that the police administration is involved in promoting illegal mining and smuggling instead of stopping it. Illegal extortion of crores of rupees is taking place in the state every day under the protection of the government. For illegal smuggling of minerals, thousands of rupees per truck are extorted by the administration. The protectors of the state's wealth have become looters.
He said that the government should immediately take stern action against those involved in such illegal mining and smuggling. Otherwise the state BJP workers would be compelled to take to the streets and protest.
The BJP leader also targeted state government for reducing MNREGA wages. He said that the Rural Development Minister of the Congress Party, who patted his back on the MNREGA scheme, is reducing the wages of workers instead of increasing.
He said that during the Corona period, the central government has increased the wages of MGNREGA workers by Rs 12. But the state government is reducing wages by reducing its share, which is unfortunate. This government is an anti-farmer labor government.
