Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Sudarshan Bhagat, while presiding over the meeting of State BJP Election Commission Communication Department held at State Party Headquarters in Ranchi on Sunday said that the cell has an important role to play and has been formed with an intention to strengthen the party. The meeting was also attended by State Urban Development Minister CP Singh and Organisational General Secretary Dharampal Ji.
“Such departments like Election Commission Communication Department has been formed by party’s national president Amit Shah to strengthen the party and also to run it in an effective and efficient way,” said Bhagat. He also appealed the party officials and the working committee members to get to their work with full dedication.
Dharampal Ji said Election Commission Communication Department must get into work to play an important role in the coming Municipal Elections before lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha Elections. He also wished best of luck to the District Conveners and State Officials who attended the first working committee meeting.
The meeting was also addressed by Urban Development Minister CP Singh and Chatra in Charge Arvind Kumar Singh, who attended the meeting as Chief Guest.
Tributes were paid to the party ideologues Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee before the meeting. It was chaired by Shiv Kumar Sharma and was convened by Sudheer Srivastava. Memorandum of thanks was given by Gaurav Pathak.
