Senior BJP leader and former legislator Saryu Roy will observe fast on January 30 in protest against rising corruption and miss rule in the State. The leader said that the corrupt leaders must not be voted to power.

“In order to motivate people I have decided to observe the fast that will be organised on the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at Gandhi Ghat in Sakchi,” he noted.

He added that the wrong policies of the State and the UPA led to large-scale migration, poverty and unemployment and in the 2014 polls such people must not be voted to power.
