Shri Shri Ravan Dahan Committee organised a grand Vijayadashami festival, symbolizing the victory of truth over falsehood and good over evil at the football ground at Bagunhatu. On the occasion, former state BJP spokesperson Amarpreet Singh Kale, who was present as the chief guest in the programme, said that he is fortunate to be a part of this ancient tradition of Ramlila. He described Ramlila as the festival of victory of truth over falsehood. “To defeat the tyrant just like we burn Ravana every year, we all should take a pledge to remove all evils from ourselves, our social structure and our nation. Shri Ram represents the best of humanity and is the epitome of sacrifice and dedication. At the same time, every Dussehra, he asked to take a resolution to eliminate the ten shortcomings within himself,” he noted. Kale emphasised that we all have the strength to overcome these evils and strive to make this nation great.
