Ruling party in the State Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) once again attacked BJP on Monday and said that the party’s own leaders are trying to send former Chief Minister, Raghubar Das to jail.
Addressing a press meet at the party headquarter, JMM General Secretary cum Spokesperson, Supriyo Bhattacharya said that the ACB investigation has started against former CM Raghuvar Das. “Many cases including Momentum Jharkhand are yet to be investigated. Former CM Babulal Marandi, Rajyasabha MP, Deepak Prakash and Union Minister, Arjun Munda, saying that this trio together is preparing to send former CM Raghubar Das to jail. Its plot was made in Delhi, the trio has decided how to send Raghubar to jail,” he added.
Bhattacharya said that the three leaders went to Delhi together and returned simultaneously. “By putting Chief Minister, Hemant Soren in the front, BJP is telling secrets of Das regime. The trio is working on this mode,” he added.
“Babulal Marandi himself has insulted the mandate, now it is not in his favour to worry about the State. They should make a list of tainted officers, and our government will take action. Keep some factual things along with the list. Don't just make allegations,” said Bhattacharya.
The party’s Spokesperson said that the slogan of Clean Jharkhand Corruption Free Jharkhand has come from the State President of BJP, Deepak Prakash is doing the work of vigorously defending the decisions of the previous Das Government. Thanking Deepak Prakash, he said that by bringing the issue of city development, he brought Raghubar Government to the dock.
“On the basis of capital value on the basis of different areas of Ranchi, we have done the work of providing relief by levying holding tax but all the three BJP leaders got stomach aches. The tax was increased at the behest of the capitalists, big contractors. Even in water, JMM did free billing up to Rs 5, 000 liters. A person currently uses three hundred liters of water daily, so earlier Rs 54, now Rs 36 and for Rs 400 per liter has to be paid Rs 63,” said Bhttacharya.
He also said those with five hundred liters have to pay a tax of Rs 90. “Those who use more than five hundred liters of water have to pay more. That's why Babulal Marandi, former CM Raghubar Das and State BJP president Deepak Prakash started feeling pain. The Palamu DC Shashi Ranjan whose talk is being raised by Deepak Prakash, is from the time of Raghubar Das. Nothing will happen just by waving the paper. JMM imposed tax keeping in view the interests of common people. Now the burden on the common people has increased at the behest of BJP,” he added.
