Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha, who also happens to be Hazaribagh MP arrived the town on Wednesday evening with bag full of gifts for the denizens of both Hazaribagh and Ramgarh and youths of entire State. Talking with the media persons on Thursday Sinha expressed confidence that his party was all set to win the Assembly polls in all five States.
Replying the questions regarding demonetization and BJP’s performance in coming state elections Jayant said that the party is going to win in all the five states. People’s positive response to the decision of demonetization has energized the government and the party workers and the Central government will soon come with beneficial packages for the common man of this country, he added.
Jayant said that 100 seat each has been sanctioned for Hazaribagh, Dumka and Deoghar medical colleges and the erection work of these medical college is going to start soon. From next year the medical colleges would be started and Sadar Hospitals would be attached with them, he added.
He said that Jharkhand is included in the list of 5 states going to benefited under Atal Jyoti Scheme. More than 2000 streets lights will be fitted in the rural areas of Hazaribagh and Ramgarh districts with a cost of 4.4 crores by March 2018, he added. He also informed that the waiting period of Padma SAI Center is now over and most probably on April 01, 2017 it will be inaugurated.
Talking about the problem of land acquisition and agitation of land owners of Barkagaon Jayant said that CM Raghuvar Das is soon going to visit Barkagaon and will make some announcements for the benefit of the land owners. He hinted that one job to each family and entire compensation amount at a time will be given to the land owners whose land has been acquired by NTPC. The CM can also announce that no further land acquisition for NTPC will be done at Barkagaon without the prior permission of the villagers and land owners. Increase in monthly pension to those whose land has been acquired may also be a part of CMs announcement.
Jayant also assured that he is closely monitoring the developmental works going on in the area and his special attention is on NH33, utilization of district mineral fund, end of load shedding problem, installation of CCTV cameras at important places of both Hazaribagh and Ramgarh, development of Hazaribagh air strip etc. and assured that positive result will come in very short period. He also assured to talk on the issue of hike in holding tax with the officials and ministers of state government.
