The State BJP leadership on Monday made a visit to the residence of state BJP patriarch and former Khuti MP Karia Munda. The BJP leadership visit was as part of a public relations campaign. On behalf of State BJP, State President and MP Deepak Prakash, State Organization General Secretary Karmaveer Singh and State General Secretary and MP Aditya Sahu honored octogenarian and Padmabhushan recipient Kariya Munda by offering him Angvastra and flowers at his residence in Khunti
On this occasion, State President and Member of Parliament Deepak Prakash said that Kariya ji is rich and has a great personality. In the form of Union Minister, Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker, Member of Parliament and MLA for a long time in the Government of India, he contributed to the strengthening of Indian democracy and public service.
He said that he ignited cultural nationalism in the tribal-dominated area. The strength and success of BJP is the result of the hard work of Karyakartas like Kariya ji. Munda has represented Khunti Lok Sabha seat for eight times.
The BJP president said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi enhanced the honor of Jharkhand by conferring the Padma Bhushan to Kariya.
He said that it is the duty of the state BJP to honor such senior workers of the party and distinguished people of the society.
Meanwhile, in another development BJP's former National General Secretary, Jharkhand in-charge of mass public relations campaign, Rajya Sabha MP Sushri Saroj Pandey will arrive in Ranchi on Tuesday, June 13 at 3 pm by service plane. This information was given by the provincial coordinator of the campaign, Dr. Pradeep Verma.
He told that Sushri Saroj Pandey will address the United Front Conference organized by BJP Hatia Vidhansabha at YBN School Dhurva at 4 pm.
Pandey will participate in the state committee meeting of Maha Public Relations Campaign at BJP state office at 5 pm. Ms. Pandey will leave for Delhi by Sewa Viman at 7 pm.
