BJP District presidents in Jharkhand have been asked to make preparations for Foundation Day ceremony in the State. A meeting of district presidents was held at Chief Minister’s residence in Ranchi on Wednesday, where detailed reports from the districts heads were also taken by Chief Minister Raghubar Das and BJP Jharkhand Unit President laxman Gilua.
“The district presidents were directed to make all efforts to make the rally being organised on November 15 successful by pulling in more and more people in it,” said a district president. Das and the State president also took district wise reports from the district heads regarding functioning of organisations in their areas, he added.
“The meeting went on for over an hour where they were asked to clear whether they have set up mandal and booth committees in their districts or not and how the organisation has been functioning in their areas,” said another district president. Some of the district heads also pointed out weaknesses in their areas and also made suggestions to improve it, he said.
In a bid to focus on achievements of the Centre and State Governments, a decision had been taken during the BJP Core Committee meeting held at party headquarters in Ranchi to organize a huge rally to publicise the works done by its governments on the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
During the meeting, it was also decided to give befitting reply to the opposition parties against the issues being raised by them to malign the image of the State Government and misguide people against it.
