State BJP President cum Rajya Sabha member Deepak Prakash today attacked the State government stating that there has been a dreadful situation of drought in the State and on the other hand the State government is indulged in corruption. Villages, poor, farmers are not visible anywhere in the agenda of the government. He said that the ruling party of the State is carrying out agitations, dharnas and demonstrations to save the corrupt and corrupt. They don't care about farmers.
He said that earlier also the government has stopped the welfare schemes of farmers. The government has cheated the farmers even in loan waiver and purchase of paddy on support price. He said that even today farmers are compelled to make rounds of government offices to get their dues for the purchase of paddy.
Prakash said that the State has received less than 50 per cent rainfall so far. The paddy fields have dried up in the fields. Ropani has been affected in 21 out of 24 districts. So far only 14.11 per cent paddy has been planted in the state. He said that in the coming days, people would not only face the problem of food grains but also fodder for cattle and drinking water.
He said that the State government is neither worried about the farmers nor the poor. The ambitious Ayushman Bharat scheme of the Modi government is proving to be a failure in the State. The result of the government's failures is that even the treatment of diseases like cancer is in a state of being stopped. Even in the past, many private hospitals have refused to admit patients under the Ayushman scheme due to lack of payment. Due to the negligence of the health department of the government, the news of the closure of free Kovishield booster dose is also coming.
He urged the state government to immediately take necessary steps in view of the magnitude of drought, declare the state drought-hit and carry out relief work.
