BJP delegation meets kin of deceased Sub Inspector 4

A BJP delegation, led by State president cum MP Deepak Prakash, consoled the family members of sub inspector Late Rupa Tirkey at his home in Ratu near the Capital city. The family members told the BJP leaders that Rupa’s death was not a suicide but a brutal killing and police are not even considering the application of theirs. “We had submitted an application indicating murder of Rupa, in which one Pankaj Mishra was named, but the police there filed a UD case and termed it a suicide. And, till today Pankaj Mishra has not been called by the police for questioning,” they said.

Prakash said that the entire BJP family stands with the family members of Rupa till justice is given to her. He said that the incident is being ignored by the police-administration. It is clear that an attempt is being made to hide things in the case. He said that a case against this contempt of public representatives will also be lodged.

He said that the state government has started putting this incident in abeyance to save a big person. The BJP's pledge is that whoever is guilty in the murder of Rupa will be punished severely. There is agitation under the Covid Protocol across the state to demand an inquiry. He said that by tomorrow all BJP MLAs and MPs will mail to the Governor and demand a CBI inquiry.

Meanwhile, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has alleged BJP of doing politics on the death of Rupa. JMM General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya today said that the case is already under investigation by an SIT and if the family of Rupa demands higher agencies to probe the case it will be done. But, BJP should not do politics in the name of tribal women.

The State Congress also charged BJP of doing politics on the issue. Party spokespersons said that their party wants justice for Rupa Tirkey, but BJP leaders are trying to divert the direction of probe by doing unnecessary politics on the issue. They should let the police-administration do their work. The daughter of the State will surely get justice.
