State BJP president Laxman Gilua said on Thursday that the party will win all 14 Lok Sabha seats in the 2019 general elections. He said that the party has been working at the booth level and is confident of victory on all Lok Sabha seats in the polls.
Addressing media persons after party’s Parliamentary Committee meeting at State Guest House on Thursday, Gilua said that an elaborate meeting on the preparations of 2019 elections was held on Thursday. He said that the BJP national president in his last visit to State in July had given 23 types of tasks to the workers. He had also made different teams to work on different levels.
“These works include conferences of beneficiaries, youths, women and different segments of society. Setting up of booth committees and appointment of in-charges has also been done. In last 4 years several welfare schemes were launched and crores of people have been benefitted,” he said.
“Looking at the State and Central schemes we feel confident that we can win maximum seats in the coming elections. Opposition parties are also making coalition and they want to remove BJP from power. In the State they are saying that the BJP will snatch land of the poor through the new land laws. But, I want to ask from them about one single incident when the government has snatched land of the poor in last four years,” added Gilua.
Talking about BJP’s plans he said that the party has the support of every single poor and the common man of the State and it is surely going to win all 14 seats in the State. As many as 2500 booths have already been readied by now, he said.
On the issue of Jagnnathpr MLA Gita Koda joining Congress, Gilua said that she was never a part of the NDA fold so there was nothing to say about her.
BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh, MP Jayant Sinha, MLAs Sameer Oraon, Anant Ojha, Vinachi narayan and others were present in the meeting.
