BJP chief raises law and order issue

BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi put the state government in the dock on terror prevailing in the state due to the nexus of the ruling police administration. He accused the state government of terrorizing the state through a power-police nexus on the lines of the Mamata government in West Bengal. Marandi said that along with the rulers, some of the officials there have also played an important role in the plight of West Bengal. The CBI is investigating about a dozen small and big cases related to atrocities and terror committed by the police-power nexus on the orders of the High Court. Jharkhand is also on this path.
