BJP blames collation Govt for not fulfilling promises

State BJP president Deepak Prakash on Friday targeted the JMM-Congress-RJD alliance Government, accusing them of betraying the people by not fulfilling the promises made to them.  The BJP leader alleged that the state government has misled people by their lucrative promises, but in reality the Grand Alliance has not been successful in bringing down even a single announcement on the ground.

Prakash also alleged that both the JMM and Congress are promoting corruption and dynastic politics. He said that on Independence Day, Chief Minister of the state had announced that reservation will be given to the local residents of Jharkhand whose salary will be up to Rs 40,000 -- the policy which aims at discriminating people. People whose salary will be above 40 thousand, in which doctors, engineers, management degree holders are included will chose other states. He alleged that the State Government was trying to promote brain drain. He questioned the government and said that before coming to power, JMM had said that if their government comes, they will do the work of making local policy. Today the Chief Minister of the state should tell whether they have announced a new local policy or was the local policy made by the BJP government good enough on which the government is working.

Prakash also questioned the outcome of various schemes which were announced by the alliance government such as Dal Bhaat scheme. He said that money is being paid to feed 400 people in a shop but food is provided to only 40 people. He also said that there is corruption in Sona Sobran scheme under which lungi, sari, dhoti was to be distributed. “A saree worth Rs 90 was bought for Rs 190,” alleged Prakash.

The BJP leader alleged that under petrol and diesel subsidy scheme, government has spent a lot on advertisement but less than 150 people are benefitted with the schemes.

He said that VAT was reduced four times by the Central government on petroleum products so that inflation could be controlled, but VAT was not reduced even once by the State government.

The BJP leader also raised questions on implementation of Ayushman scheme in State stating that State government has not given dues of 56 such hospitals which are registered till date. Hospitals are cutting back on treatment. He also took a jibe at the announcement of the Old Pension Scheme by the state government and said that the state officials are saying that Rs 17 thousand crore will be spent in this scheme, where will that money come from. Speaking on the drought situation in the state, he said that 13 out of 24 districts are affected by drought. Farmers dependent on rain, there are 7 districts where there is a drought situation.
