The state BJP reviewed the crushing defeat in the assembly elections for two days. The things that have come out during the review meeting will now be informed to the high command. A meeting will be held with the state leaders in Delhi on December 3. This meeting will be important in many ways. The future outline of the organization will be decided in this meeting. According to the information, there is a possibility of major changes in the state organization.
There is also a discussion that in Jharkhand BJP, from the state president to the organization minister, district president, in-charges of many districts can also be changed. In the election, BJP was reduced to only 21 seats. In Santhal, it had to face defeat on 17 out of 18 seats. During the review meeting, many leaders bluntly said that local issues were ignored in the elections. Giving tickets to outside leaders also became the reason for the defeat. At the same time, the divisional in-charges also did not take any effective steps.
Local problems were also not conveyed to the top leaders in the right manner. Questions were raised on the role of divisional level leaders in the meeting. At the same time, questions were raised on the booth level organization, many district heads and in-charges. Many leaders said that the role of divisional in-charges was also suspicious. The leaders also said that those who did not get tickets became in-charges through Jugaad. But BJP candidates did not get a relative victory in any division. In the six divisions of its organization, Aditya Sahu was made in-charge for Kolhan, Ganesh Mishra for South Chotanagpur, Vikas Pritam for Palamu, Pradeep Verma for Dhanbad, Manoj Singh for Hazaribagh and Balmukund Sahay for Santhal.
The leaders who participated in the review meeting said that now there is a need to take strict steps. There is a need to think and brainstorm on this. The in-charges only did a formality during the elections. They remained confined to the AC room. They did nothing except touring. The leaders said that there was a lack of coordination between the officials and workers during the elections. The rebels also caused harm to the BJP. Along with this, the leaders also demanded that there should be a revolutionary leader of Dalits and tribals in Jharkhand, who can unite the tribal votes.
Starting a membership campaign was also discussed in the meeting. The state leaders said that all the shortcomings will be removed. This will create a strong voice of the people. National General Secretary (Organization) BL Santosh, State In-charge Laxmikant Vajpayee, Regional Organization General Secretary Nagendra Tripathi, State Organization General Secretary Karmaveer Singh, State President Babulal Marandi, Executive President Ravindra Rai along with District President and District In-charge were present in the meeting.
