Jharkhand BJP State in-charge and national general secretary Dilip Saikia on Friday hit hard at the coalition government stating that three and half crore people of Jharkhand are bound to suffer due to anti-people policy of the State Government.
Saikia, who is in Ranchi in connection with a three days state visit, said that the law and order of Jharkhand has completely collapsed whereas corruption has gone unchecked.
He added women in Jharkhand are feeling unsafe and the policy of Jharkhand has gone haywire.
“The worst thing is that the coalition government has been misusing government machinery to suppress the BJP opposition with false cases. The party will further intensify the movement against the government. This government is spreading lies to mislead the public against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that the party is on a mission to strengthen the party organization at the booth level and the drive will start on the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
He also welcomed the Jharkhand High Court ordering CBI inquiry of the suspected death of Jharkhand Police SI Rupa Tirkey. He termed it as an example of how atrocities on women have increased in Jharkhand in the regime.
Jharkhand BJP president Deepak Prakash who accompanied Sakia criticized the Congress on the issue of Rupa Tirkey case.
“The Congress has once again shown its double face. The Congress is the part of the Hemant Soren government but it stayed silent when people were demanding the CBI inquiry. Now when the court has ordered CBI inquiry; Jharkhand Congress in-charge RPN Singh is clapping. The BJP in fact fought for its tribal daughter,” said Prakash. He expressed surprise over RPN Singh questioning the employment policy of the Hemant Soren led Government.
“Congress’ ministers were the part of that cabinet meeting which had passed that policy. If RPN Singh and his party are left with morality the Congress minister should resign from the Hemant Soren government,” said Prakash.
