State BJP Spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo, on Saturday, said that the foundation stone of Mandal Dam on Saturday laid down by Prime Minister is a big deal for Bihar and Jharkhand and added that Mandal Dam will help in improving the economic condition of the farmers of this entire area.
Applauding the work of the Central Government Shahdeo said, “The PM said that the farmers’ loan waiver can benefit them for one year with a loan waiver. But, Rs 90,000 crore spent on the irrigation schemes, generation by generation will be benefitting the farmers by these schemes.”
Criticising the Congress Party Shahdeo said, “During the Congress rule, the budget of the Mandal Dam scheme was just 30 crore, which has now increased to trillions. It is a matter of criminal conspiracy against the farmers by Congress. In Jharkhand, Modi is ahead of Rahul Gandhi with a score of 8-0. The difference between Congress and Rahul Gandhi’s attachment to Jharkhand is that it is demonstrated that Rahul Gandhi has not visited Jharkhand even once after the last general elections.”
