The BJP and Congress are now in direct confrontation mood on lathicharge issue here.
On Monday, the BJP along with ABVP workers staged a dharna at Randhir Verma Square demanding suspension of Dhanbad SDM Satyendra Kumar, while the Congress has constituted a six member probe committee to expose the alleged conspiracy to defame Congress Ministers .
The BJP-ABVP dharma was led by Dhanbad MLA Raj Sinha and hundreds of BJP and students union activists took part shouting slogans against the Hemant Soren Government.
Raj Sinha while speaking to media said that the UPA government led by Hemant Soren has shown its irrespossive and insensitive attitude towards girls by not taking action on SDM. We have launched a stir that will continue both on roads as well as in assembly till action is taken against SDM and justice is given to the students who were deliberately failed by JAC, he said .
On the other hand district Congress president Brajendra Prasad Singh has constituted a six member committee of senior party leaders to probe the incident of August 6 and 7.
Singh said , BJP is bent upon defaming the government by agitating on minor issues .
The probe team would investigate keeping all angles in mind and report would be sento party high command ,said Singh.
