The State BJP with an attempt to connect with people ahead of Lok Sabha elections has planned mega outreach progarmme, which will kick start from February 12. The outreach programme christened as ‘Mera Parivar Bhajpa Parivar’ will run till March 2, through which the party will hoist party flags and put stickers in the houses of BJP members.

The State BJP as part of outreach progarmme has plans to put up party flags and stickers at party members’ houses of all 29,500 booths. BJP national general secretary, Arun Singh said here on Monday, “There are 29,500 party booths spread over 14 Lok Sabha constituencies. From each booth we have decided to select BJP members and supporters houses where the party flags and stickers will be put. We have set a target to stick party flags and stickers at around 20 lakh houses.”

Apart from party flags, the circular shape stickers in different sizes will have pictures of Prime Minister Narendra  Modi on which ‘Mera Parivar Bhajpa Parivar’ and ‘Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar’ will be written. The basic idea behind the progarmme is not only to connect with BJP cadres but with their family members too. In Jharkhand the BJP has 28 lakh members. These BJP cadres have been issued directions to hoist party flags in their houses. Singh said the party cadres have been asked to take Selfie while hoisting the party flags and putting up stickers and upload the pictures in respective BJP Whatsapp group.

The State BJP in order to make the programme successful had carried out awareness drive at Panchayat, Mandal and district level. The party has also made coordinators for different districts to make the outreach programme a grand success.

Prior to BJP outreach progarmme of ‘Mera Parivar Bhajpa Parivar’ the BJP last month had launched Kamal Jyoti Vikash Abhiyan, under which the party members illuminating over 57 lakh lotus lamp in Jharkhand. BJP poll symbol-shaped lotus lamps were given to the beneficiaries of various Government schemes in the State.

Singh, who was in State capital, also assessed the progress of such programmes in state. He said, “The State unit is satisfied with the progress of various outreach progarmme launched by BJP.”

Meanwhile, the State BJP today observed the death anniversary of its ideologue, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya as ‘Samarpan Diwas’. State BJP president, Laxman Gilua and other party leaders paid their homage to the departed leader in state capital.

Gilua said, “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya advocated Antyodaya (welfare of the underprivileged). Upadhyaya mantra was that the fruits of development should reach to the people at the bottom of the society.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working on same mantra as centre schemes such as housing, electricity, cooking gas, health, insurance and self employment though loans and others aimed at reaching to people below the society.”
