A 55-year-old businessman’s body with his throat slit was recovered from Amnari bazaar-Karnodih village road on Friday evening. The police have registered a murder case against unknown persons. The victim has been identified as Dwarika Yadav, a resident of Karnodih village having hardware shop at Amnari bazzar in Saria,police said.
According to the SDPO,Binod Kumar Mahto, a few locals spotted Yadav lying in a pool of blood just beside the road around 7 pm on Friday exactly 1/2 km behind his shop.The locals then informed the police and Yadav was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival,added SDPO.
Upon searching his person, the cops recovered his mobile phone using which they traced his family and informed them of the tragedy.
The victim was resident of Karnodih village and stayed with his other family members. He has hardware shop at Amnari bazzar and was returning his home late in the evening on Friday when incident happened.He was holeday in his shop. We are trying to ascertain that who is behind of his murdered,said a police officer from Saria police station. "So far, there is no witness and hence we suspect that the incident must have taken place in the evening. His family too is clueless over the incident” he added. After the postmortem was conducted by the forensic team, the body was handed over to his family.
