“Biometric life Certificate Awareness” programme was held at CCl for creating awareness among the pensioners. CMD CCl Gopal Singh while inaugurating the programme, appreciated this move from the CMPF department. With the help of technology we can make the life of Pensioners easy and procedure simpler for the Pensioners.
Singh gave instruction to the officials for creating awareness among the Pensioners, so that they can benefit from this scheme. Director (Finance) DK Ghosh, Regional Commissioner, R-1, CMPF TK Nayor, along with CGM, GM, HOD and others officers were also present the programme.
Pensioners can now download the app named ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ and can fill their details in the app. Jeevan Pramaan is Aadhar based Digital life Certificate for Pensioners. ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ will do away with the requirement of a pensioner having to submit a physical life Certificate in November each year, in order to ensure continuity of pension being credited into their account. Jeevan Praman software can be downloaded from https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in/ for both PC and Android Devices. “Jeevan Pramaan” certificate can be obtained from software by putting beneficiary fingerprint or iris authentication.
