A 25 –year old biker died on the spot while an another person was injured at Pilpillo more at 7pm on Friday after being hit by a heavy coal ladentruck. Police recovered the dead body and his motorbike a few meters away from the accident site.
The deceased was later identified as Subas Karmokar. He lived with his family at Pipratard in Balidih and was coming to Bokaro Thermal with his relative Sanjay Karmokar. The injured youth has been sent to DVC ,Bokaro Thermal hospital for treatment ,police sources informed .Officer- in charge Prameshwar liyangi say that Bikers had reached near Pilpillo-more when the vehicle hit them in front killing him on the spot and other youth named Sanjay Karmokar got injured.The truck driver then reversed his vehicle and fled .Police revealed that the impact of the hit was such that Subas fell off the motorcycle and died on the spot.
A passerby saw the incident and informed the Bokaro Thermal police .A police –in charge with his team reached the spot .The body was sent to hospital after which he was identified from his ID.
